📚 UPTET 2026 — Paper Wise Eligibility Criteria

📗 Paper I — Primary Level (Class 1 to 5)

  • Option 1: Graduation + 2-Year D.El.Ed (DElEd/BTC) with minimum 50% marks
  • Option 2: Graduation + Basic Training Certificate (BTC) for distance education
  • Option 3: Graduation with at least 50% marks + 4-Year B.El.Ed
  • Option 4: Graduation with at least 50% marks + 2-Year Diploma in Special Education
  • Final year students of DElEd/BTC are also eligible to apply

📘 Paper II — Upper Primary Level (Class 6 to 8)

  • Option 1: Graduation with at least 50% marks + 2-Year B.Ed
  • Option 2: Graduation with at least 45% marks + B.Ed (as per NCTE norms)
  • Option 3: Graduation with at least 50% marks + 4-Year B.El.Ed
  • Option 4: Graduation with at least 50% marks + B.Ed (Special Education)
